By accessing and using Caliqa ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

These Terms of Service should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy. For business customers, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) also applies and governs how we process personal data on your behalf in compliance with GDPR.

Caliqa provides an instrument calibration management platform that allows you to:

• Track instrument calibration schedules and expiry dates
• Store and manage calibration certificates
• Receive automated email reminders for upcoming calibrations
• Maintain compliance records for audits and inspections
• Collaborate with team members through multi-user access

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Not share your account credentials with others

Free Plan: We offer a free plan with limited features as specified on our pricing page.

Paid Plans: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Price Changes:We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

You retain all rights to the data you upload to Caliqa, including instrument records, calibration data, and certificates. We claim no ownership over your content.

Upon account termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Caliqa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.

While we strive to provide accurate reminder notifications, you remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with calibration schedules and regulatory requirements.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Belgium.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
